The next book in the House of Night series called Awakened is out today.
So Heath died in the last book, so wonder what's going to happen in this book.
The accompaniment to the series, the Fledgling Handbook 101 is referenced many times throughout the series and was released on October 26, 2010. The Handbook is the book that a fledgling gets when they first enter the House of Night. This book is full of explanations, stories and rituals that are found commonly in a vampyre's life. Some stories include how Cleopatra actually made Egypt fall to Rome, and the story of the ancient Roman priestess whose soul shattered (mentioned in a conversation between Stevie Rae and Aphrodite in Burned).
Oh my God I love those books. Wait, I need to finish them....going to look for those two you mentioned.

In the last book, it was sad when Jack dies and Zoe's mom also dies.

I think the house of night will be a great series for me to read..
HoN is awesome. I absolutely love them! Cast and her daughter actually came out with a joining series that gives us insight on—thus far— Dragon and Lenobia’s pasts. (Dragon’s Oath & Lenobia’s Vow.)

I. Love. This. Series. I can't wait for the next book to come out. I read Dragon's Oath and am about to read Lenobia's vow. Her past life has been referenced alot in the last book, so I think it'll be intresting to see where Lenobia came from. I would also like to see why she acts so weird while around the human stable boy. Waiting for the next part of the series is killing me. I haven't read the fledging handbook, but I really want to! I also cried when Jack, Zoey's mom, and Dragon died. It was very romantic when he was reunited with his dead lover. And I gotta admit. It was sad when Lauren was killed as well. He was hot.
I read a few of these books. It was kinda weird though. They are set in a place I grew up in, and a lot of the places she references are real. Its kinda odd to read about vampires in a coffeeshop you drank coffee with your grandma in.
